The Smart Park Monsanto Phase II addition is registered as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building. Native Plant Solutions was responsible for native grass seeding, erosion control, and weed control at the site while it was being established.

One hectare of tall grass prairie species were seeded at the University of Manitoba’s Smart Park on the grounds surrounding the Monsanto Phase II addition.
