Native Upland Specialist

After graduating from the University of Manitoba in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, majoring in Natural Resource Management, Brett gained valuable skills and experience in the agricultural research sector working for Bayer Crop Science over a two-year period as a Field Research Assistant. In 2021 Brett joined Manitoba Forestry as a Forestry Technical Assistant, conducting forestry surveys across the province. Brett joined Native Plant Solutions as an upland project lead in 2022, and in this role, he has become passionate about the establishment and maintenance of naturalized landscapes. He specializes in tree planting and prescribed fires as Native Plant Solution’s Burn Boss.
